Dungog Ultra Trail
 

3RD & 4TH AUGUST 2019

 

The Dungog Ultra Trail is a community running weekend, which caters for runners, joggers and walkers of all ages and abilities to raise much needed funds for the Dungog Shire Community Centre.

Saturday hosts a 23km road run on the Fosterton Loop and the 53km ultra and on the Sunday there is a range of distances for a family-friendly day on the trails of the Dungog Common.

23KM Fosterton Loop and 53KM Ultra

Sunday August 4th

2KM, 5KM and 10KM

The EVENTS

Events are held on country roads or bush trails and are well marked.  

 

SATURDAY 3rd AUGUST

 

SATURDAY ULTRA TRAIL - 53KM

Saturday 3rd August
8am Start

Welcome to the first Dungog Ultra Trail - a stunning 53km course on quiet roads, farm tracks and bush trails. Taking place on the Saturday, the Ultra Trail is a unique opportunity to get off the beaten track and experience the incredible beauty of the Dungog region, on foot. There will be a 9 hour cut-off time to complete the 53km course. 

 

SATURDAY - 23KM - FOSTERTON LOOP ROAD RUN

Saturday 3rd August
8am Start

Starting on the edge of Dungog you head for the Fosterton Loop, running stunning farm trails and country roads over a 23km distance before returning to Dungog. This is one of the most scenic road courses in the region. With a 4 hour cut off time, this is a course you can enjoy as a fast walk.

Kids under 12 run free.

A scenic 6km course through the Dungog Common

Kids under 12 run free. 

SUNDAY - 10KM 

Sunday 4th August
TBC Start

A stunning 12km course through the Dungog Common

Kids under 12 run free. 

 

Sunday events will start and finish at the Dungog Common
